Southern Cross Outback Observatories Project (SCOOP) is proud to contribute to the Australian space industry and we are humbled by its elite standing as Finalist in the Innovator of the Year category in Australian Space Awards 2022 and Australian Defence Industry Awards 2022 for our innovation in space debris detection and mitigation with mobile observatory network. We hope our standing in these awards will help us connect to the like-minded organizations and people for collaboration in establishing this mechanism for the space debris detection and enabling its removal through ground-based or orbital ADR.
