With no sunspots in sight and over 50% cloud cover, PK's dedicated H-Alpha gear saved the solar observing part of the session.
Here are a couple of my images of the Sun that I captured from the Arid Lands Botanic Gardens outside Port Augusta where I was providing a Science Week event on Sunday, August 12, with the Southern Cross Outreach Observatory Project, SCOOP.
